What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 EV chargers?
Level 1 chargers use a standard 120-volt household outlet and typically provide 2-5 miles of range per hour of charging.
Level 2 chargers require a 240-volt circuit and provide 10-60 miles of range per hour of charging, making them much faster than Level 1 chargers. Level 2 chargers are ideal for home installations and public charging stations.
Is the charging current (amps) adjustable through smartphone app?
Yes. In the APP "Smart Life", the current can be adjusted from 16A to 48A.
Just tap "Setting" > "Charging current".
Why does the current display when charging is lower than the corresponding current of the product I purchased?
1. Due to the BMS protection of the electric car, the current will reach its maximum after ten minutes‘ charging.
2. If the remaining power of the car is above 70%, the central control of the car will automatically adjust the charging current to ensure the best state of the battery.
3. The amount of charging current is mainly related to the car.
The OBC on the car automatically controls the charging current according to the feedback from the BMS.
4.During the charging process, the magnitude of the current is controlled by the car. It could be that the battery is nearly full, or the battery temperature is too high, and the car reduces the current.
